Raymond Loewy, the man after whom this museum is named, had an illustrious career that spanned several decades. His influence on our lives can be felt even today. Loewy worked for many of the major corporations, including almost 30 of the current top 100 companies on the Fortune 500. His designs for Exxon, GM, Ford, General Electric, IBM, Boeing, Johnson & Johnson, among many others, are still recognizable today. From the famous Exxon logo, to the restyling of the classic Coke bottle, Raymond Loewy’s hand and eye has helped create the modern world in which we live.
